Just wondering if anyone else read the 14 books on Sissi by Marieluise Von Ingenheim? I am not sure into how many languages were they translated from German...I am originally from Slovakia so I have them in slovak.

hello nice to hear that, but who exactly is Marie Luise von Ingenheim, when did she live and when was the book written?

The 14 books were published around 1993...here is one website:

The books cover Sissi's entire life (the last 3 or 4 focus on specific "affairs" such as with Bay Middleton, John Collet, etc). The author written them as stories with dialogues ,etc, not only as bare facts, so it's pretty interesting reading.

I think the author is austrian because the books were first published in german in Vienna. That is all i know about her.
