Hi,
I just wanted to mention that in the movie The Phantom of the Opera with Gerry Butler and Emmy Rossum there is a scene in which she he dressed almost exactly like Sissi in the famous Winterhalter portrait. You can see a picture here: www.emmyrossumfan.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=47&pos=22
and here

Has anyone seen it?

I think it must a been intented because the ressemblance is striking. Also, the scene in wich she is in the Chapel with Raoul, her hair and even her black skirt and white blouse made me think of Sissi in the photograph we see in the Gallery (119).

I have that movie too on dvd. And I also thought the same thing, so I started searching on the internet after I saw the movie.
This is wat I read on www.imdb.com/title/tt0293508/trivia. It explains a lot why Emmy Rossum looks so much like Elisabeth:
In Christine's debut performance as the star of the Opera House, she wears a costume that is an exact replica of the outfit Empress Elizabeth (aka "Sisi") of Austria wears in her most famous portrait. This includes the white diaphanous dress with full, billowing skirt, as well as the diamond star-bursts in her hair and earrings. This is not surprising when one considers the fact that Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the most important collectors of artwork from this period, and would be familiar with the portrait in question.

Thanks a lot for this confirmation!
